Arbour Crossing Covid-19 News

A team member, who works as an Assistant Manager at Food Lover’s Market Arbour Crossing, has tested positive for Covid-19. His last day at work was on Friday, 11 December 2020 – three days ago. This team member had to be taken to hospital for an unrelated reason on Saturday, 12 December 2020 and he was consequently tested the next day (Sunday, 13 December 2020) as part of the hospital admissions protocol. We were informally advised today of the positive test result. In the interest of transparency we are letting you know about these developments and how we have already addressed them.

All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 10-days since last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Friday, 11 December 2020 – when our colleague was last at work. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming him, and the rest of the team, back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Arbour Crossing is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
