Food Lover’s Market Brackenfell COVID-19 News

11th Jun 2020

11 June 2020 – A team member, who works in the butchery department at Food Lover’s Market Brackenfell, was sent home on 30 May 2020 and has not been back to work – she was last in the store 13 days ago. We were informally advised today that she has tested positive for COVID-19. Although we have not yet received a certification from a medical authority, we have decided to activate the protocols we have in place in the event of a positive test result.

All employees that had direct contact with the team member have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 14-days since last contact with their colleague and are being monitored for any symptoms of COVID-19.

A professional cleaning company has conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store twice – on 02 June and 09 June 2020 respectively. We have adopted this proactive approach to protect our team and customers.

We will continue our practice of screening our colleagues on arrival at work daily and during the day. We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to her returning to work, along with the rest of our team.

Food Lover’s Market Brackenfell is open and practicing all COVID-19 hygiene procedures – including social distancing, wearing masks and sanitising. We look forward to welcoming you to our store for your next shop.
