Comaro Crossing Covid-19 News

25th Jun 2020

25 June 2020 – A team member, who works as a Till Controller at Food Lover’s Market Comaro Crossing, has tested positive for Covid-19. The team member has not been to work since 17 June 2020 – eight days ago. We were made aware of the positive test result today when this team member was screened and consequently tested as part of a routine medical checkup. Although we have only been advised telephonically, we have decided to activate the protocols we have in place in the event of a positive test result. In the interest of transparency, we have let you know about this development and how we have already addressed it.

All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 14-days since the last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.

In addition to the deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Friday, 19 June 2020 – six days ago, the store will also be deep cleaned and sanitised by a professional cleaning company this evening.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her, and the rest of the team, back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day. We will also continue to follow all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practising social distancing and wearing masks. Food Lover’s Market Comaro Crossing is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to our store.
