Comaro Crossing Covid-19 News

23rd Jun 2020

A team member, who works in the admin department at Food Lover’s Market Comaro Crossing, called in sick and has not returned to work since 17 June 2020 – six days ago. We have been informally advised today that she has tested positive for COVID-19. Although we have only been advised telephonically, we have decided to activate the protocols we have in place in the event of a positive test result. In the interest of transparency, we have let you know about this development and how we have already addressed it.

All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 14-days since the last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.

A professional cleaning company has conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Friday, 19 June 2020 – four days ago.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her, and the rest of the team, back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day. We will also continue to follow all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practising social distancing and wearing masks.
