Crescent Covid-19 News

We have been informed that a colleague, in a Management position, at Food Lover’s Market Crescent, has tested positive for Covid-19. His last day at work was on Monday, 11 January 2021 – two days ago. This team member felt unwell and, as a precautionary measure, consequently, had himself tested for Covid-19 on Tuesday, 12 January 2021.

All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 10-days since last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store yesterday – Tuesday, 12 January 2021. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming him, and the rest of the team, back to the store.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Crescent is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
