Eatery Newspaper House Covid-19 News

29th Dec 2020

29 December 2020 – A team member, who works in a management position in the Admin department at Food Lover’s Eatery Newspaper House has tested positive for Covid-19. His last day at work was on Thursday, 24 December 2020 – five days ago. This team member felt unwell and consequently had himself tested on Sunday, 27 December 2020. We were formally advised of the positive test result today.

All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 10-days since the last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Sunday, 27 December 2020 – when we were advised that our colleague has been tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming him, and our other colleagues, back to the store.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government, Food Lover’s Eatery Newspaper House is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
