Elardus Park Covid-19 News
8th Jan 2021
08 January 2021 – A team member, who works as a Cleaner at Food Lover’s Market Elardus Park has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Tuesday, 29 December 2020 – ten days ago. This team member was screened as part of our daily wellness checks and sent home. She consequently had herself tested on Thursday, 31 December 2020. Although our colleague was formally advised of the positive test result on Friday, 01 January 2021, we were only advised today. In the interest of transparency we are letting you know about these developments and how we have already addressed them.
This team member had no close contacts.
A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitization of the store on Wednesday, 30 December 2020 – after our colleague was screened and sent home. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitizing hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Elardus Park is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
