Food Lover’s Market Hermanus Covid-19 News

17th Jun 2021

16 June 2021 – A team member, who works in the Admin department at Food Lover’s Market Hermanus, has tested positive for Covid-19. She was last at work on Saturday, 12 June 2021 – four days ago. This team member called in to let us know she was feeling unwell. She was consequently tested on Tuesday, 15 June 2021. We formally advised today that she has tested positive for COVID-19.

This team member had no close contacts.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Tuesday, 15 June 2021 – after we were advised that our colleague has been treated for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Hermanus is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
