Food Lover’s Market Nelspruit Covid-19 News

29 January 2021 – A team member, who works in the Hot Foods Department at Food Lover’s Market Nelspruit, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was Monday, 25 January 2021 – four days ago. This team member called in sick as she was feeling unwell. She consequently had herself tested yesterday (Thursday, 28 January 2021) and we were formally advised of the positive test result last night.

This team member had no close contacts.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store last night (Thursday, 28 January 2021) – when we were advised that our colleague has tested positive for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Nelspruit is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
