Food Lover’s Market Nicolway Covid-19 News

16th Jul 2020

16 July 2020 – A team member, who works as a cashier at Food Lover’s Market Nicolway, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was Wednesday, 01 July 2020 – 16 days ago. Our colleague called in sick, consequently had herself tested and we were advised of the positive test result today.

The close contacts of our colleague have been identified, but the 14-day prescribed quarantine period has elapsed in the interim and the close contacts remain at work.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Saturday, 11 July 2020 – five days ago. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her, and the rest of the team, back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Nicolway is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
