Food Lover’s Market Woodlands Covid-19 News

26th Oct 2020

26 October 2020 – A team member, who works as a Cashier at Food Lover’s Market Woodlands, has tested positive for Covid-19. She was last in the store on Tuesday, 20 October – six days ago. This team member advised us today that she has tested positive for Covid-19, after she had herself tested on Wednesday, 21 October 2020. In the interest of transparency, we are letting you know about this development and how we are addressing it.

All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 10-days since the last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.

We have closed the store this afternoon to conduct an immediate deep clean and sanitisation by a professional cleaning company. We intend to reopen tomorrow, once we are completely satisfied that all hygiene protocols have been completed. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her, and the rest of the team, back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practising social distancing and wearing masks.

Food Lover’s Market Woodlands will be open for business tomorrow morning and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
