Gateway Covid-19 News
24th Jul 2020
24 July 2020 – A team member, who works as a cashier at Food Lover’s Market Gateway, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Monday, 13 July 2020 – eleven days ago. This team member was screened as part of our daily wellness checks and was sent home because she wasn’t feeling well. She consequently had herself tested on Tuesday,14 July 2020 (ten days ago) and we were advised of the positive test result today.
Our colleague did not have any close contacts. A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Wednesday, 15 July 2020 (nine days ago) – after our colleague advised us that she has been tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practising social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government, Food Lover’s Market Gateway is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
