Jabulani Covid-19 News
13th Jul 2020
13 July 2020 – A team member, who works as a Manager at Food Lover’s Market Jabulani, has tested positive for Covid-19. He has been on normal leave since 22 June 2020 – and has not been at work for 22 days. Our colleague felt unwell over this leave period and was referred to be tested. We have been advised today of the positive test result.
As our colleague has not been at the store in 22 days, he has no close contacts at work. We are also of the view that our colleague did not contract the virus at work as he was on leave over that time. The store was deep cleaned and sanitised by a professional cleaning company on Monday, 06 July 2020 – seven days ago.
All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming him back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practising social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government, Food Lover’s Market Jabulani is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
