Knsyna Covid-19 News

A team member, who works in the Admin department at Food Lover’s Market Knysna, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Tuesday, 12 January 2021 – three days ago. This team member called in sick as she wasn’t feeling well and consequently had herself tested on Wednesday, 13 January 2021. We were formally advised of the positive test result last night – Thursday, 14 January 2021.

This team member had no close contacts.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Wednesday, 13 January 2021 – after we were advised that our colleague has been tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Knysna is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
