Knysna Covid-19 News

4th Dec 2020

04 December 2020 – A team member, working in the Perishable department at Food Lover’s Market Knsyna, has tested positive for Covid-19. His last day at work was on Tuesday, 01 December 2020 – three days ago. This team member called in to let us know he is feeling unwell and consequently had himself tested yesterday (Thursday, 03 December 2020). We were informally advised of his Covid-19 test results last night. In the interest of transparency, we are letting you know about these developments and how we have already addressed them.

This team member had no close contacts.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Tuesday, 01 December 2020 – when our colleague was last at work. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming him back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Knsyna is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
