Knysna Covid-19 News

7th Dec 2020

A team member, working in the Salad Bar department at Food Lover’s Market Knsyna, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Friday, 04 December 2020 – three days ago. This team member was advised to have herself tested as she was feeling unwell Friday evening. She consequently had herself tested on Saturday, 05 December 2020. We were informally advised of her Covid-19 test results yesterday (Sunday, 06 December 2020). In the interest of transparency, we are letting you know about these developments and how we have already addressed them.

This team member had no close contacts.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Friday, 04 December 2020 – when our colleague was last at work. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practising social distancing and wearing masks.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government, Food Lover’s Market Knsyna is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
