Knysna COVID-19 News
18th Dec 2020
17 December 2020 – A team member, who works as a Cashier at Food Lover’s Market Knysna, has tested positive for COVID-19. Our colleague was last in the store on Tuesday, 15 December 2020 – two days ago. This team member called in to say she was feeling unwell. She consequently had herself tested today – Thursday, 17 December 2020. We were informally advised today of her positive test result for Covid-19. In the interest of transparency, we are letting you know about these developments and how we have already addressed them.
This colleague had no close contacts.
The store has been deep cleaned and sanitised by a professional cleaning company on Wednesday, 16 December 2020 – as part of our daily precautionary protocols in this store. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practising social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government, Food Lover’s Market Knysna is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
