Knysna Covid-19 News

21st Dec 2020

21 December 2020 – A team member, who works in the Admin department at Food Lover’s Market Knysna, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Monday, 14 December 2020 – seven days ago. This team member was a close contact of a colleague who has tested positive for Covid-19. She consequently had herself tested for Covid-19 on Sunday, 20 December 2020. We were formally advised today of the positive test result.

This colleague had no close contacts.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Sunday, 20 December 2020 – before our colleague was tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Knysna is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
