Knysna Covid-19 News

24th Dec 2020

23 December 2020 – A team member, working in the Admin department at Food Lover’s Market Knysna, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was yesterday – Tuesday, 22 December 2020. This team member was showing symptoms of Covid-19 and consequently had herself tested on Monday, 21 December 2020. She was initially advised that it is a negative test result, but today (Wednesday, 23 December 2020) we were informally advised that she has tested positive for Covid-19. In the interest of transparency, we are letting you know about these developments and how we have already addressed them.

This colleague had no close contacts.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Monday, 21 December 2020 and Tuesday, 22 December 2020 respectively – as part of our daily precautionary protocols in this store. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government, Food Lover’s Market Knysna is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
