Langenhoven Park Covid-19 News
10th Aug 2020
10 August 2020 – A team member, who works in the Dry Goods department at Food Lover’s Market Langenhoven Park, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Sunday, 26 July 2020 – fifteen days ago. This team member was screened as part of our daily wellness checks and was sent home because she wasn’t feeling well. She consequently had herself tested on Wednesday, 05 August 2020 (five days ago) and we were advised today of the positive test result.
As our colleague has not been in the store for 15 days, she has no close contacts.
A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Wednesday, 05 August 2020 (five days ago) – on the day our colleague was tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Langenhoven Park is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
