Lenasia Covid-19 News
3rd Aug 2020
03 August 2020 – A team member, who works as a contract cashier at Food Lover’s Market Lenasia, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Sunday, 02 August 2020 – yesterday. This team member was tested on Wednesday, 29 July 2020 – five days ago, but we were not made aware of this until we received notification of the positive test today.
All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 14-days since the last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.
Although we were not aware at the time that our colleague has been tested for Covid-19, we had a scheduled deep clean and sanitisation of the store by a professional cleaning company last night, 02 August 2020 – after our colleague ended her shift yesterday. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her, and the rest of the team, back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practising social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government, Food Lover’s Market Lenasia is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
