Lenasia Covid-19 News
13th Jun 2021
12 June 2021 – A team member, who works as a Cashier at Food Lover’s Market Lenasia, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Friday, 11 June 2021 – one day ago. This team member fell ill this morning, on her way to work, and was tested for Covid-19 as part of the hospital admissions process. As it was a Rapid Antigen Test, we were formally advised of the positive test result today.
This team member had one close contact, who has been identified and instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 10-days since the last contact with said colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.
A professional cleaning company will conduct a deep clean and sanitisation of the store tonight – Saturday, 12 June 2021. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her, and our other colleague, back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
The store will open tomorrow, once all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government – have been completed. We look forward to welcoming you back to Food Lover’s Market Lenasia
