Market Liquors Tokai Covid-19 News

28th Dec 2020

28 December 2020 – A team member, who works as a Cashier at Market Liquors Tokai, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Monday, 21 December 2020 – seven days ago. This team member was sent home as she was a close contact of individuals who have tested positive for Covid-19. She consequently had herself tested on Thursday, 24 December 2020. We were formally advised today of the positive test result.

This colleague had no close contacts.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store yesterday – 27 December 2020, as we were advised that our colleague has tested positive for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government, Market Liquors Tokai is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
