Morning Glen Covid-19 News

21st Jun 2021

21 June 2021 – A team member, who works in the Butchery department at Food Lover’s Market Morning Glen, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Friday, 18 June 2021 – three days ago. This team member was asked to self-quarantine as she is a close contact of a colleague who has tested positive for Covid-19. She consequently had herself tested today, 21 June 2021. We were also advised of the positive test result today.

All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 10-days since last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.

A professional cleaning company will conduct a deep clean and sanitisation of the store tonight – Monday, 21 June 2021. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her, and our other colleagues, back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.

The store will be open tomorrow, once all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government – have been completed. We look forward to welcoming you back to Food Lover’s Market Morning Glen.
