Mossel Bay Covid-19 News

7th Dec 2020

A team member, who works as a Cleaner at Food Lover’s Market Mossel Bay, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Monday, 30 November 2020 – seven days ago. This team member is a close contact of someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 and had herself tested on Monday, 30 November 2020 as a precaution. We were formally advised of the positive test result yesterday.

This team member had no close contacts.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Monday, 30 November 2020 – when our colleague was tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practising social distancing and wearing masks.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government, Food Lover’s Market Mossel Bay is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store
