Nelspruit Covid-19 News

6th Aug 2020

05 August 2020 – A team member, who works in the Bakery department at Food Lover’s Market Nelspruit, has tested positive for Covid-19. She was last in the store on Saturday, 01 August 2020 – four days ago. This team member was screened as part of our daily wellness checks and was sent home because she wasn’t feeling well. She consequently had herself tested on Monday, 03 August 2020 – two days ago. We were advised today of the positive test result.

All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 14-days since the last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Monday, 03 August 2020 (two days ago) – on the day our colleague had herself tested.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her, and the rest of the team, back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day. We will also continue to follow all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practising social distancing and wearing masks.

As we have taken the necessary precautions to keep our team and customers safe, the Food Lover’s Market Nelspruit store is open and we welcome you back to our store for your next shop.
