Nicolway Covid-19 News
25th Jul 2020
July 2020 – A team member, who works as a cashier at Food Lover’s Market Nicolway, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Thursday, 09 July 2020 – sixteen days ago. This team member was originally asked to self-isolate as she was a close contact of someone who has tested positive. She was consequently tested on Friday, 17 July 2020 – eight days ago. We were made aware of the positive test result today.
As our colleague was in self-isolation, she has no close contacts.
A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Saturday, 11 July 2020 (14 days ago) – after our colleague was sent home to self-isolate. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day. We will also continue to follow all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Nicolway is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
