Norwood Covid-19 News
10th Jul 2020
10 July 2020 – A team member, who works as a Supervisor in the Cheese department at Food Lover’s Market Norwood, has tested positive for Covid-19. Our colleague was sent home after it came to our attention that she has gone for a test. Her last day in-store was Friday, 26 June 2020 – fourteen days ago. We were made aware of the positive test result today.
All employees that had direct contact with the team member have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 14-days since the last contact with their colleague and are being monitored for any symptoms of COVID-19. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.
A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Saturday, 27 June 2020 – 13 days ago. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practising social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government, Food Lover’s Market Norwood is open and we look forward to welcoming you back in store.
