Norwood Covid-19 News
24th Jun 2021
24 June 2021 – A team member, who works in the Receiving department at Food Lover’s Market Norwood, has tested positive for Covid-19. She was last at work on Thursday, 17 June 2021 – eight days ago. This team member called in to let us know that she was feeling unwell. She consequently had herself tested on Monday, 21 June 2021. We were formally advised today that she has tested positive for COVID-19.
This team member has one close contact, who has been identified and instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 10-days since last contact with said colleague. This colleague is being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.
A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Tuesday, 22 June 2021 – after we were advised that our colleague has been tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.
We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her, and our other colleague, back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Norwood is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
