Norwood Covid-19 News
6th Jul 2020
06 July 2020 – A team member, who works as a Till Controller at Food Lover’s Market Norwood, has tested positive for Covid-19. Our colleague called in to let us know that she was feeling unwell and was consequently tested. Her last day in-store was Tuesday, 30 June 2020 – seven days ago. We were made aware of the positive test result yesterday.
All employees that had direct contact with the team member have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 14-days since the last contact with their colleague and are being monitored for any symptoms of COVID-19. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.
A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store early this morning – Monday, 06 July 2020. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practising social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by the government, Food Lover’s Market Norwood has reopened and we look forward to welcoming you back in store.
