Parklands Covid-19 News

7th Aug 2020

07 August 2020 – A team member, who works as an Assistant Manager at Food Lover’s Market Parklands, has tested positive for Covid-19. He was last in the store on Wednesday, 05 August 2020 – two days ago. This team member had two days off work, when he had himself tested yesterday – Thursday, 06 August 2020. We were advised today of the positive test result.

All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 14-days since last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.

A professional cleaning company will be conducting a deep clean and sanitisation of the store tonight – 07 August 2020.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming him, and the rest of the team, back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day. We will also continue to follow all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.

Following the deep clean and sanitisation of the store this evening, we intend to open the store tomorrow morning with a new shift – once we are satisfied that we have taken the necessary precautions to keep our team and customers safe. We look forward to welcoming you back to Food Lover’s Market Parklands for your next shop.
