Location: This position will be based at Food Lover’s Market Group Head Office, Brackengate Business Park, Brackenfell, Cape Town and will report directly to the Payroll Manager.

Key Requirements:

  •  Matric ( please supply results)
  •  A minimum of five (5) years experience in payroll
  •  Qualification in Payroll would be an advantage
  •  PC literate
  •  Knowledge of all Labour Relation Acts advantages


  • Performing full payroll administration functions i.e. terminations, monthly payroll changes on Spectrum System
  • Preparing of monthly returns and reports
  • Keeping all employee folders and filing up to date
  • Administer leave records (load & capture)
  • Capture and maintain new employee information on Spectrum System
  • Ensure that leave forms, personnel information, termination packs, contracts of employment, etc. are filed and updated as and when required

  • Use own initiative
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills (able to liaise at various levels)
  • Punctual/Attention to detail is essential
  • People skills essential – Must be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
  • Responsible: able to work without extensive management
  • Able to maintain confidentiality, tact and discretion at all times
