Halloumi Vegetable Skewers

Vegetarians, or Vegans can enjoy a Braai too! All you need is some fresh veg, halloumi (non-vegan) and skewer sticks...and you have some vegetable kebabs.

1 Block Halloumi (about 150g - 200g)

5 Baby Marrow / Zucchini

1 Red Onion

1/2 Pineapple

1/2 Red pepper

1/2 Green Pepper

200g Baby Tomatoes


1Chop the vegetables and Halloumi into chunks (evenly chopped, for even cooking) and place in separate bowls.

2Put the vegetables & halloumi onto the skewer, alternating between different chunks, drizzle with a little Olive oil and season with herbs, salt and pepper. (or seasoning of choice)

3Put them on the braai grid and braai until the vegetable are soft, grilled and ready to eat

*Put veggies with a similar cooking size and cooking time onto one skewer.
