Herb Salt

Herb salt is a nice addition to have in your pantry to add to butter, salads, roasts and more. Simple to make, you can choose whatever flavour combination you'd like. Perfect for edible gifts!

1/2 cup Coarse sea salt

1/4 cup Picked fresh thyme leaves, stalks excluded

1/4 cup Picked fresh rosemary leaves, stalks excluded

1 Dried, de-seeded chilli, chopped

1 cup Sea salt


1Place coarse sea salt, rosemary, thyme and chilli in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse, grinding salt until rosemary and thyme have a fine consistency. Add 1 cup sea salt and pulse to combine.

2Pour salt mixture into a shallow baking dish and let air dry for 2 hours. Transfer salt to a glass jar and screw on lid.
