Jan Braai Boerewors Rolls with Kaapse Salsa

6 Continental bread rolls
Thick tomato relish (homemade is lovely!)
1 round Roulou Feta with Cape Herbs
1 red onion
30 g chopped pecan or walnuts
¼ English cucumber, finely chopped
few basil leaves, finely shredded
Braai the Boerewors to your liking; we prefer it cooked to just medium so it retains the juiciness.
Cut into pieces and fit into your sliced bread rolls.
Spoon in tomato relish.
Lastly, top with delicious Kaapse Salsa and eat immediately.
Dice or crumble feta; finely slice red onion and add to nuts and cucumber.
Toss in basil leaves. Mix together well. Use as required, spooned onto boerewors rolls.
