Manny Mushroom Creamy Pasta

2 cups dried pasta of choice
250 g sliced mushrooms – we like to use a mix of brown and button mushrooms
2 tbsp butter
1 onion, finely chopped
1 clove of garlic, finely chopped or pressed
120 ml cream
1 pinch large pinch of Italian seasoning
salt & pepper
freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Heat the butter in a large pan and saute the onions and garlic until soft and transluscent.
Add the mushrooms and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the mushrooms are soft.
Add the cream and Parmesan cheese.
Mix until combined and the cream is heated through. Do not let the cream boil.
In a separate, large pot, cook the pasta until tender.
Combine the pasta and sauce and top with the Italian herbs.
