Ingredients

250 g Prego rump or Sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1 sliced tomato
Onion slices, fried
1 baguette, sliced through the middle
Butter and cooking oil, for cooking
Grilled bacon slices (optional)
Peri Peri Sauce

Directions

Heat a mixture of butter and oil in a frying pan until very hot.
Cook steak in hot pan to medium-rare.
Spread baquette with butter or mayo and add tomato and fried onion.
Top with steak slices, slightly overlapping.
Add Peri Peri sauce, as much as you like.
If you fancy the smoky taste of bacon, add to the baguette, but omit the Peri Peri sauce as this will mask the milder bacon flavour.
