Tortilla Salad Bowls

Turn a tortilla into a crunchy bowl, and fill it with your favourite salad ingredients. Add fresh green, a protein & a delish dressing/dip.

For the Flavoured Oil:

  • 30ml (2 Tbsp) olive oil
  • 1 sprig of rosemary or thyme
  • 5ml (1 tsp) chilli flakes
  • ½ clove of garlic, chopped finely

For the Tortilla Salad Bowls:

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 250ml (1 cup) mixed lettuce
  • 250ml (1 cup) cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ onion, sliced
  • 60ml (2 Tbsp) olives


  1. Heat oven to 160°C.
  2. Using a medium sized oven proof bowl, brush the tortilla with the flavoured oil on both sides and place in the bowl, forming a bowl shape. Place tin in the oven and toast for 5-7 minutes until brown and crispy. Remove and allow to cool.
  3. Fill the tortilla bowl with lettuce, tomatoes, onion and olives and serve with your favourite salad dressing.
