Food Lover’s Market Roeland Street Covid-19 News

18 January 2021 – A team member, who works as a General Assistant at Food Lover’s Market Roeland Street, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Thursday, 14 January 2021 – four days ago. This team member felt unwell and consequently left work on the same day to have herself tested (Thursday, 14 January 2021). While our colleague received the test results on Saturday (16 January 2021), we were formally advised of the positive test result today. In the interest of transparency we are letting you know about these developments and how we have already addressed it.

This team member had no close contacts.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Thursday, 14 January 2021 – when we were advised that our colleague has been tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Roeland Street is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
