08 January 2021 – A team member, who works as a Cashier at Food Lover’s Market Rustenburg has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Friday, 01 January 2021 – seven days ago. This team member called in to let us know she is feeling unwell. She consequently had herself tested on Monday, 04 January 2021. We were formally advised today of the positive test result.

This team member had no close contacts.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitization of the store on Thursday, 07 January 2021) – after we were advised that our colleague has been tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitizing hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Rustenburg is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
