Scottburgh Covid-19 News

12th Jan 2021

12 January 2021 – A team member, who works as a Cashier at Food Lover’s Market Scottburgh, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Wednesday, 06 January 2021 – six days ago. This team member was screened as part of our daily wellness checks and sent home. She consequently had herself tested on Thursday, 07 January 2021. We were formally advised today of the positive test result.

This team member had no close contacts.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Friday, 08 January 2021 – after our colleague advised us that she has been tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team members were last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Scottburgh is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
