South Coast Mall Covid-19 News
12th Jan 2021
12 January 2021 – A team member, who works in an Admin position at Food Lover’s Market South Coast Mall has tested positive for Covid-19. This team member was last at work on Sunday, 10 January 2021 – two days ago. This colleague called in to let us know that she is feeling unwell. She consequently had herself tested on Monday, 11 January 2021. We were formally advised of the positive test result today.
All team members that were in close contact with this colleague have been identified and have been instructed to self-quarantine for the remaining period of the 10-days since last contact with their colleague. They are being monitored for symptoms of COVID-19 and will only return to the store once we are satisfied that they have not contracted the virus.
A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Monday, 11 January 2021 – when our colleague had herself tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.
We wish our affected colleagues well and look forward to welcoming her, and our other colleagues, back to the store.
We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market South Coast Mall is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
