Tzaneen Covid-19 News

10th Aug 2020

10 August 2020 – A team member, who works in the Deli at Food Lover’s Market Tzaneen, has tested positive for Covid-19. Her last day at work was on Thursday, 30 July 2020 – eleven days ago. This team member was screened as part of our daily wellness checks and was consequently referred to be tested. She consequently had herself tested on Friday, 31 July 2020 – ten days ago. We were informed today that she has tested positive for COVID-19.

Our colleague had no close contacts.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Sunday, 02 August 2020 (eight days ago) – after we were advised that our colleague has been tested. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming her back to the store.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Tzaneen is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
