Vincent Park Covid-19 News

12th Aug 2020

12 August 2020 – A team member, who works in the Receiving department at Food Lover’s Market Vincent Park, has tested positive for Covid-19. His last day at work was on Tuesday, 04 August 2020 – eight days ago. This team member was screened as part of our daily wellness checks and was sent home because he wasn’t feeling well. He consequently had himself tested Tuesday, 11 August 2020. We were advised today that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

This colleague had no close contacts.

A professional cleaning company conducted a deep clean and sanitisation of the store on Tuesday, 11 August 2020 – on the day our colleague was tested for Covid-19. All colleagues have been screened throughout this period and have not displayed any symptoms in the time since the affected team member was last in the store.

We wish our affected colleague well and look forward to welcoming him back to the store.

We will continue our practice of screening our team members on arrival at work daily and during the day, as well as following all hygiene protocols – including sanitising hands and surfaces, practicing social distancing and wearing masks.

As we have followed all required hygiene protocols – our own, as well as the regulations as set out by government, Food Lover’s Market Vincent Park is open and we look forward to welcoming you back to store.
