5ml (1 tsp) Food Lover’s Blended Seed & Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
125ml ( ½ cup) white wine
500ml (2 cups) fresh cream
10ml (2 tsp) Food Lover’s Crushed Garlic
700g Food Lover’s Seafood Mix, thawed
400g Food Lover’s Catering Prawn Meat, thawed
1 handful Italian parsley, finely chopped
1 handful dill, finely chopped
Juice of 2 lemons
Salt and pepper, to season
Bring a potjie or sauce pot to a medium heat.
Add the oil and onion and allow to sauté for 2-3 minutes, then add the wine and allow to reduce by half. Add the fresh cream and garlic, allow to cook for 10-15 minutes. The cream must thicken enough to coat the back of a spoon.
Before adding the seafood, make sure that any excess liquid has been drained from the meat. Add the seafood into the pot and allow to cook for 7-9 minutes.
Add the chopped herbs, lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
Serve with some toasted garlic bread, rice or salad of your choice.
