300g frozen mixed berries
1/4 cups water
2-3 Tbsp granulated white or brown sugar
Double cream plain yoghurt
Fresh berries to garnish
Food Lover's Granola
Combine berries and water in a pot and cook over a medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Bring to a simmer then slowly add sugar, continuing to stir. Transfer to a clean jar and allow to cook completely before sealing.
If wanting a smooth compote, simply blend with a hand blender until smooth.
For the best breakfast, complete jar: One layer of Food Lovers Granola, then add one layer of Greek-style yoghurt, one layer of complete then repeat – one layer of granola, one layer of yoghurt and one layer of compote.
Place in the fridge until ready to consume.
