Due to a national outbreak of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) among cattle, there is currently a shortage of supply. As a result, beef forequarters are temporarily unavailable in our stores. It’s outside of our control and we’re working closely with our suppliers to ensure that we can resume sales as soon as possible.

We understand the concern this may raise, and we want to reassure our customers:

• FMD poses no risk to humans. It is not a foodborne illness and cannot be transmitted through meat. The disease affects only cloven-hoofed animals and has zero impact on consumer health.
• Our supplier, Karan Beef, upholds some of the strictest animal health and food safety standards in the industry, and they are committed to providing a beef product that is safe, trusted and certified.
