In previous weeks, we’ve shone a spotlight on some of the incredible beneficiary organisations our stores support in their immediate communities and this week we’re highlighting another child-centric organisation, Ngwana Baby House, supported by FLM The Farmyard.
Ngwana means ‘child’ and the caretakers simply love the children they take care of.
A registered Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) and place of safety, Ngwana Baby House in Fauna Park, Polokwane, provides refuge to some of the community’s most vulnerable babies aged 0 – 3 years. Assisting with their adoption and providing care for those orphaned, abandoned or given up for adoption by mothers who cannot care for them, the house has become a home to 25 babies.
To assist the organisation in taking care of these precious souls, FLM The Farmyard provides monthly donations in the form of fresh produce, cleaning necessities, and the like to the value of R1,800.
