For the Chocolate Mousse:
2 ripe avocados
80 ml (1/3 cup) cocoa powder
160 g dark chocolate, melted
125 ml (1/2 cup) fresh cream
5 ml (1 tsp) vanilla extract
30 ml (1 Tbsp) You First Honey
Pinch of salt
For the Topping:
60 ml (1/4 cup) fresh cream
5 ml (1 tsp) castor sugar
Dark chocolate shavings
Berries of choice
Directions
For the Chocolate Mousse:
In a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients together and blend until smooth.
Spoon the mixture into your chosen jars or ramekins and set in the fridge for 1 – 2 hours.
For the Topping:
In a medium sized mixing bowl, beat the cream and sugar together until thick. Spoon the cream on top of the chocolate mousse cups and garnish with the chocolate shavings and berries. Dig in and enjoy!
