Not only is this cheesy omelette perfect for a protein-packed lunch box meal, but you can make it for breakfast, brunch or dinner. You can swap out the ham for cold meat of choice, veggies or sliced tomatoes. If the kids are looking for something new and tasty for their lunchbox, this cheesy egg omelette recipe is perfect. For the Cheesy Omelette Roll:
5ml (1 tsp) butter
2 eggs, beaten
30ml (2 Tbsp) Food Lover’s Medium Fat Cheddar Cheese, grated
15ml (1 Tbsp) spring onion, thinly sliced
2 slices ham
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
For the Cheesy Omelette Roll:
Melt the butter in a medium sized pan over medium heat. Pour the beaten eggs into the pan and swirl it around until covering the bottom.
Lower the heat and add cheese, spring onions, ham and season with salt and pepper. Allow to cook for another minute or two.
Transfer the omelette to a plate and gently roll up and cut into 4 pieces.
